 ... starts with chapters covering the second year, the third year, play and childcare and there are plenty of sensible comments in these. Then we get to the dreaded routines chapter. Yes, based on your child's age Gina can tell you exactly when (and what) they should be sleeping, eating and playing in order for them to be a contented (and good at sleeping) toddler. Gina Ford is a self-styled baby / toddler rearing guru who has written many books on the subject and has even given her name to the question 'Is your baby Gina'd?' We start off in The Contented Baby Book, I picked this up off the shelf at a friends house when my baby was 6 weeks old, flicked to the page with the routine for his age group and started reading. She told me what time to get him up how many oz (or mins if breastfeeding) milk to give him, then what time and what I should have for breakfast.
