Advantages: Easy to read

Disadvantages: Can't put it down...house is getting dusty!

I devoured this book in several sittings. It is easy to read with short chapters, decent size print and a very readable storyline. Good for holidays!
The main character, Robert Hunter, is a homicide detective in a special branch for particularly nasty murders. Several years ago he and his then partner worked for years trying to trace the murderer dubbed the crucifix killer who killed 7 seemingly unrelated people in a rather nasty way. Then they came across a chap and they thought they had him. He confessed, was tried and given the death penalty. The whole time Robert thought they didn't have their man.
Fast forward several years and the body of a woman is found murdered in a very brutal way bearing the marks of the crucifix killer. Hunter and his new partner Garcia either have a copycat on their hands, or its true and they didn't get the right man the first time. The hunt is on.....again.
The characters are really good that you like them and root for them and actually worry about them, making this book a real page turner. Well written and has an amazing twist. Thumbs up.

Summary: A page turner with a twist
