The Culture Clash by Jean Donaldson is truly a fantastic book, it describes a dogs natural behaviours and how they 'clash' with our expectations of them, i.e. to not sniff, lick, chew, jump, dig which for them is an entirely natural behaviour. At 202 pages long this book is a substantial source of doggy related information and all of this is words as the only pictures in this book are the pictures at the beginning of each chapter which are nice black and white photos of real dogs, no stupid cartoons which don't tell you anything here!
