Disadvantages: Not for the highly religious, it could be considered blasphemous

I loved this book. I found the subject extremely interesting, especially being a woman...you'll have to read this to know what I mean. The story is gripping but also opens a whole world of questions. This is a book that really makes you "think". It will question all your beliefs and then turn them upside down. It makes a lot of sense, but at the same time I can understand the controversy it caused. Personally I would recommend it to anyone, of not only to open the mind a little. It creates a world which you can relate to. It doesn't have imps or fairies, it has real people with real emotions and is set in real places. Is the subject matter real? That is a long argued question, to which we may never have the answer. Dan Brown has opened a door, it is your choice if you wish to walk through it. He has braved criticism and ridicule with book and my hat goes off to him.

Summary: An excellent story, full of twists, you may think you know this story, but you don't, read it!

Just finished reading it and really enjoyed it as a work of fiction, though it did make me wonder. I think that Dan Brown opened more doors in my mind than Jk Rowling ever will and I'm a total atheist.

This doesn't really appeal to me that much, glad it got you thinking though, even if it's fiction!

Sorry you don't 'believe' this book do you?
Its fiction. Nothing more.
To say Dan Brown has opened doors is like saying JK Rowling has uncovered a secret cadre of wizards
