Advantages: Good Story

Disadvantages: Have to concentrate

This has to be one of my favourite books of all time. Literary buffs are quick to point out all its failings, but that aside it is a compelling read and I found it hard to put the book down.

The story is believable. You come away asking if their is any truth in it. It certainly attacks the Catholic church so if you are Catholic, you may not want to read this book.

Basically, the story is about Christ having a child with Mary Magdalene and follows the trail to find their descendants. In amongst this is the church trying to prevent this all happening. Has a lot of action and you need to stay focused throughout. It is not an easy read as you have to stay with the plot. I had to go back and read the same page again on more than one occasion.

Altogether a great read. Can see why it sold so many copies.

Summary: Would recommend - book not to be missed
