Advantages: Gripping and keeps you reading

Disadvantages: Some difficult language in the book which may be difficult for the younger to read

I begun to read this book with the mis conception that it was going to disappoint and offer very little in terms of excitement and ability to keep me reading on, how very wrong I was. The Da Vinci Code written by the brilliant Dan Brown is a fine example of religious beliefs twinned with fiction. The book delves into the depths of history as main character Robert Langdon and cryptologist Sophie Neveu attempt to unravel numerous puzzles and uncover a stunning truth, history's best kept secret whilst fighting to stay alive. This controversial novel offers some amazing theories, which, although are 100 percent based on fiction, really make you think about whether the ideas could be possible. An engrossing read from start to finish with many many unexpected twists and turns throughout, this book really will keep you on the edge of your seats as it offers as much intensity and action as a book can, truely a stroke of genius from Dan Brown, as The Da Vinci Code is no doubt cemented in the hall of fame. I would definately recommend this brilliany book.

Summary: An enthralling masterpiece that keeps you gripped from start to finish
