Advantages: good horror book

Disadvantages: some people hate horror

Now I am officially a massive fan of the Point horror books and I'm dreadfully upset to find out that they've gone and disappeared. I love the way these books are created and I think they are a real inspiration to everyone who would like to go down the author career route, as they are simple but brilliant. And if a publisher did the same as Point Horror has, then tonnes of new authors would find limelight. Famous authors (from the Point Horror series) include R.L. Stine, Richie Tankersley Cusick, Malcolm Rose & Caroline B. Cooney to name a few. Although there has been a few books from this series I've read that I thought the author should have became famous only they didn't, here's a few I think: Samantha Lee (Read Reviews on Demon & Demon II), Sinclair Smith (read review on "The Waitress), and this author: Linda Cargill, however recently she has found limelight. If Point Horror had lasted for a little longer I reckon these authors would have been famous, and I really feel for these authors, it usually is the ones whose books are quite possibly the better ones of the series.

Linda Cargill released many books under the Point Horror series and managed to release a sequel to this book just in time as Point Horror succumbed not long after "The Dark 2" was released. She then disappeared for 4 whole years and then struck gold in 2008 and released quite a few books that might have been planned to release under the Point Horror collection. She has released many in 2008 which implies that she had most likely wrote them before hand. I really liked this story and I am very interested in reading a lot more books by this author, and I shall get onto Amazon, after writing this review, and add the books to my wish list.

This book starts off action packed, right at the very beginning, it is set 2 years before and makes poor Bianca Winters very afraid of the dark because she was witness to a brutal murder the devastated her home town. However the police keep on questioning her, but she can't remember a thing except for the dark. But then something worse happens and she ends up saving the day, only she yet again can't remember a thing, she is endlessly running from the dark but will the dark catch her? Or will she find the murder victim and discover the light?

Yet again this is another Point Horror book that focuses on a young female teenager, this is an occurring theme in the Point Horror books, however sometimes it isn't. And yet again it got me guessing who the culprit was and I never expected it to be who it was and it totally shocked me. I think what makes Point Horror really good is the way it manipulates you into thinking every single person apart from the real person, and even though I know that I just cannot guess the person, I try and add up all the evidence and end up being led in completely the wrong direction and you are totally stocked to find out that it's that person.

This book amazed me better than any of the other Point Horror books I have read so far, this is because it starts off action packed. Most Point Horror books start off with a normal day that gets worse and worse then gets better and better, only this one has totally changed that around and starts it really bad and then good then bad again then good, it's basically like a roller-coaster.

Yet again I can see tiny little mark that was probably massive 2 weeks ago (I waited that long for Dooyoo and Ciao! To submit this) and I think this is probably the 3rd best book ever in the Point Horror series!!!!!!!!!!!!! The 2 books in front are: Demon - Samantha Lee & Demon II - Samantha Lee.

This is one real scary book and I cannot wait to read more from Linda Cargill, she could possibly become one of my favourite authors if I like her other books.

I hope you plan on reading this as I enjoyed this book amazingly well! And I reckon you will too, though it wouldn't be your sort of thing if you hate horror books. Trust me when I tell you that this will scare the horror fans!

Thank you all for reading!
