This is the first true story that I ever read and its one that i have come back to time and time again. I first learned of Dian Fossey and her work back when i was 15 or 16 and saw the film Gorillas in the Mist. It was through this film that I discovered that Dian Fossey lived and died protecting the Mountain Gorilla in its natural habitat. I decided I wanted to know more about this woman and when i found this book it was a must-have for me.
