This is a story about underworld of gambling and politics. It starts with the mayor Penn Cage having secret meetings with an old school friend, Tim, who works on one of the gambling boats in Natchez. Tim has information about things happening on the boat he works. A day later Tim is brutally murdered, and his bosses demand an item Tim stole. With the help of old girlfriends, friends and family Penn sets on his journey to find this item which leads to all types of drama and suspense.
