There are so many excellent picture books for small children in existence that there's no way you will ever discover them all! That is why I am always so pleased when we discover a really good one such as 'The Dog Who Could Dig!' It's written by Jonathan Long, who I don't think I have heard of before, and illustrated by the wonderful Korky Paul (who is the illustrator of the Winnie the Witch books). The book tells the delightful story of a dog called Digger who has buried his bone but cannot remember where.
