Nicolas Blincoe tries hard in this book to capture then energy, humour and anarchy of Hunter S Thompson’s ‘Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas’ or the tension of JG Ballard at his best unfortunately he fails miserably! THE STORY David Ramsbottom is a dopehead! He smokes dope, he traffics in dope infact his whole life revolves around dope. On his wedding day to a young socialite Annabella Babbage the police finally are about to catch up with him but once again leaving his poor bride stranded at the altar he manages to keep one step ahead of the law.
