I liked the chapter on family changes which is very infromative as it clearly depicts how men with little more enthuasism can be competent enough to handle this situation at ease.Betty has made attempts to incorporate comments from professional doctors instead of digging too much into the nitty gritty of medical science. The Expectant Father is an excellent book for... well, expectant fathers. It is very ease to read. It is light and yet informative. It is not scary and goes into just enough detail to be useful without confusing any dads to be. The book is divided chronologically into the Ante-natal period, the Labour and the Post-natal period. There are amusing sketches throughout the book that make it quite light-hearted. It hits exactly the right note for men who want to know about what is happening to their pregnant partner but aren't up for too much detail.
