Rating:

I had never seen I Love You Sleepyhead until it was brought by a family member for my daughter last christmas. The book is lovingly written by Claire Freedman and beautifully illustrated by Simon Mendez, with both of their efforts combined I suspect they managed to achieve everything that they set out to. Rating:

Aliens Love Underpants is a lovely and silly children s tale from author Claire Freedman and illustrated by Ben Cort. It has won the Richard and Judy s Children s Books Award for the 5+ category, and although our son is 4, he loves this book, mainly because the aliens make him laugh! The book tells of the real reason for aliens coming to earth, which is that they love the variety of underpants we have, from granny s frilly bloomers to mum s pink knickers! They try them on and play with them and get chased by the dog, and when mum comes out to get the washing in, they scarper quickly before they re seen. It ends by telling kids to check their underpants for aliens in case ...
