The Father (1887) A play in three acts By August Strindberg (1849 – 1912) For me, the well written books are the ones that leave memories; I can never forget the scene in which the pig was slaughtered in JUDE THE OBSCURE, I will always imagine how Catherine and Heathcliff hugged and cried till their tears mixed in WUTHERING HEIGHTS, and in HAMLET the list is simply too long. When you fail to recall a single scene from a book, it is mostly because you didn’t like it much.
