Sci-Fi & Fantasy - May, Julian

a dark brooding fantasy classic slow moving

The first "real" Discworld novel, DEATH is a wonderful character Not a lot

Fast Storyline, Exciting Rushed Finish, Mistakes

Interesting concept with strong characters, particularly for classic science fiction. Some of the sci-fi concepts are a little silly, and the women stay at home to do the ironing.

Thoughtful and relevant metaphor of America's monopoly on the world. But in space, in the future. Doesn't push hard enough, and descends into bland soap for the most part.
