'The Giant Book of Zombies' is a great collection of short stories themed around the living dead, with contributions from some excellent horror authors spanning over a century. These include 'Sex, Death and Starshine', a story about undead entertainers in an old theatre taken from Clive Barker's legendary Books of Blood series, and 'The Facts in the Case of M Valdemar', a baroque horror classic by Edgar Allen Poe about a doctor's patient who appears clinically dead but continues to speak about his condition from his deathbed.
