Advantages: Fantastic storyline, that takes time to reveal itself.

Disadvantages: Nothing!!!

I have read all Cecelia Ahern's books so far. My favourite is PS I Love You, and have always felt slighty disppointed with her others. However, just as I was about to give up on the author, I read The Gift. I can safely say it is one of the most enjoyable books I have read. I simply couldn't put it down. When I'd finished reading for the night, I thought about it. It really captured my imagination.
You will fall for the characters. Even though the main character, Lou, isn't the nicest man, by the end I loved him and felt for him deeply. Lou is a very busy business man and has no time for his family. One day he gives a homeless man, Gabe, a job in his workplace. He begins to find Gabe very uncomfortable, especially as he can seem to be in two places at the same time. Gabe opens a whole new world to him and changes his perspective on things.
By the end I cried my eyes out, and I feel if a book can make you cry, it's a cracker!
