Shall I read The Woman Who Walked Into Doors by Roddy Doyle? Eek! No. Shall I read A Star Called Henry by Roddy Doyle? Yawwn... no. Shall I read a little kids book by Roddy Doyle instead? Oooh YEAH! There's this man, and he's about to step in some dog poo. That's it really. Not much of a plot is it? Admittedly it is "a big pile of wet, fresh dog poo", but as the author himself says in chapter two: so what? Well, the question is: how did it get there?
