The book is beautifully designed, almost every page has been made to look like an upper-class scrap book, with drawings of women with speech bubbles, cuttings and photos all "stuck" in there. It really is a joy to turn the pages and look at all the differently designed pages. There is also a lot of useful information in this book, Gisele Scanlon obviously has made it her business to know her stuff. She has interviewed some very famous people and put...more

I was given this book as a present, and as such I had no idea what it was about, originally! Basically it is packed with facts, advice and interviews on a range of 'goddess' issues. The book is split into chapters on Style, Beauty, Travel, Home, Garden, Food, Havin' Fun, Joie de Vivre, Pillow Talk and G-Spots (not as naughty as it sounds ;)). No creasing the spine with this so you can pass it on without guilt after you've read ...  Read the complete review

Ladies, this is the book you've been waiting for! This book was given to me as a present and I didn't really pay much attention to it at first, but now that I started to read in it, I find it indispensable. "The goddess guide" is basically all the little bits of information and articles that you find interesting in magazines. There is no need anymore to keep all this magazines, just because there is one interesting page that you think you'll need at some stage again. All the information you need as a girl, are in this book. It starts with style going on to the basics like shoes and handbags through to lingerie, make up and perfume. ...  Read the complete review
