Advantages: great book
Disadvantages: none
This is the scary tale of a little mouse on a journey through the woods.
On his way through the woods the mouse meets a lot of other animals who would like to eat him, a fox, a owl, a snake.
Every time he meets someone who wants to eat him he puts them off eating him by telling them about the gruffalo, a big thing with big tusks and big claws.
The mouses story of the gruffalo stops him being eaten by all of the creatures in the forest but the gruffalo isnt just a story and you can imagine the horror of the little mouse when he comes face to face with the gruffalo himself.
This is a lovely story which is fun for children as there is a lot of repetition in the book so they can join in with the story, it has 32 pages so it is quite a good length for a bed time story and cost me £3.84 from tesco last week.
Summary: a brilliant book for children
