For anyone of a certain age who can remember the British films of the 60's and 70's one British film studio above all others will stand out... Hammer. a very substantial study of Fulci’s work; features a deep and complex analysis if some of Fulci’s films without becoming pretentious; surprisingly, for a book of this nature, the text is very readable in all but a couple of places. further study of the man himself, especially with regard to the effect his harsh family life and severe illness in later life, might have lead to even further insight into the films.

A nice easy read, would be great for anyone with no knowledge of the period who wants to learn more The story is basically a rehashing of old facts, the author seemed slightly out of her comfort zone
