THE HARDCORE DIARIES is a book from wrestling legend Mick Foley. Having already written two autiobiographies Foley wanted to come up with a fresh idea for his new book. Hence he came up with a diary focusing on events in the wrestling business and what he was doing outside of the ring. Most of the book therefore is written as diary entries. The diary is great at talking about WWE storylines and Foley's thoughts on them. Foley takes us outside of the wrestling world to give us his honest thoughts on procedings in the company. Supposedly, at the tender age of around 20, Wayne Rooney signed a deal to provide his autobiography in three volumes. Quite how interesting the next one is going to be given that he's spent most of the last year getting injured is anyone's guess. By contrast, Mick Foley has recently published a third volume of his autobiography, having reached his forties. Admittedly, he has also spent quite a long time in his career being injured, but he's managed to get a far wider range of injuries.
