Most Hardy Boys books have been revised at some point or another to make them more modern and to make them a little more politically correct. The version of this story that I have read is the more updated version, which I think was updated in the 1950s, and features Frank and Joe who are given the assignment to guard a new hydrofoil, known as the Flying Express. They fail to do so, and thus must retrieve the stolen hydrofoil. However, there is a dangerous gang of thieves at work here, and the Hardys find themselves thrown into danger once more as they attempt to foil the crooks.
