The Firebird Rocket is the 57th in the series of popular Hardy Boys books written predominantly for teenage boys. The books are released under the pseudonym Franklin W Dixon but are written by a number of different ghost writers. This book is also the penultimate of the original series of books. There was never really any intention of continuing after these, but there were many more written following this original series. This case involves our heroes, brothers Frank and Joe Hardy, sons of supersleuth Fenton Hardy, and it is actually their father's case that they become involved in.
