 ... terms of the pace of the action. The fact that some mystery lingered throughout the book was also a positive point, and it retained the tension and suspense throughout the book. The characterisation is minimal, I suspect because the ghost writer would expect the majority of those reading this one to have already read a lot of Hardy Boys books, this being the 51st in the series. in the series of popular Hardy Boys books written predominantly for teenage boys. The books are released under the pseudonym Franklin W Dixon but are written by a number of different ghost writers. This particular book sees our heroes, Frank and Joe Hardy, being hired by a businessman to find his missing son. This quest ends up taking the brothers to Brazil, where they encounter some crooked goings on as they edge closer to finding the businessman's son. I found this story to be quite enjoyable in terms of the pace of the action.
