Frank & Joe Hardy are the teenage sons of famous private detective Fenton Hardy & his wife Laura. Together, (& sometimes from help with family & friends) they investigate all sorts of crimes & strange occurences.... The Secret Agent On Flight 101 was published in the US in 1967 & was the forty sixth in the series. The book first appeared in the UK in 1973 & was numbered 31 when it was published by Armada. The book starts with Frank, Joe & their father visiting a stage act performed by Hexton the Magician. Hexton offers to show Fenton Hardy how his vanishing trick is done. This is one of those Hardy Boys books that actually has its foundations in a believable start to the plot. The 46th in the series of popular books aimed primarily at teenage boys, it follows a few books that seem to have had a lot of thought go into them. There was a tendency at one point to just go with the flow and make the reader do all the hard work, giving the Hardy Boys unlikely missions, with them being asked to help out in certain circumstances that two teenage boys are unlikely to ever be asked to do. The Hardy Boys are brothers Frank and Joe Hardy, sons of supersleuth Fenton Hardy, and seem to spend their endless holidays and weekends solving crimes. ... Read the complete review
