Frank & Joe Hardy are the teenage sons of famous private detective Fenton Hardy & his wife Laura. Together, (& sometimes from help with family & friends) they investigate all sorts of crimes & strange occurences.... The Yellow Feather Mystery was published in the US in 1953 & was the thirty third in the series. It was revised in 1971. The book first appeared in the UK in 1973 & was numbered 28 when it was published by Armada. Following a couple of really good books in the series, this 33rd Hardy Boys adventure drags a potentially strong plot into what is a dull and slow to read teen adventure book. The books, of which there are many, feature brothers Frank and Joe Hardy, who seem to fall into adventure wherever they go, and spend their eternal summer holidays and long weekends fighting crime alongside their supersleuth father, Fenton. The Yellow Feather Mystery starts off when the brothers are approached by someone wishing to locate a missing will.
