The Horse and his Boy is another exceptional fantasy novel that is written by C.S Lewis as part of the Chronicles of Narnia. It was originally piublished in 1954 and is the fifth book to be published in the Chronicles of Narnia. The novel contains 199 pages and is beautifully written throughout and it really will keep you entertained throughout. It is a childrens book and I would really recommend it because the story is fantatsic and the quality of the book in general is exceptional!

The story is about a young boy who is called Shasta who is raised by a fisherman called Arsheesh having been found at birth. Shasta didn't really liked Arsheesh and he was glad that he was not his dad. The character Bree speaks to Shasta and says that they should ride together north of Narnia and they find another escaping group of travellers. The strong group of four must travel together in a world full of adventures. They must make many unpleasant journey's through the harsh land and really pull themselves through in this fascinating story.

I really through the story was excellent and it is really well structured and so I found it very easy to read. I would really recommend it to those who like adventure books that are full of action and excitement because this book really is just that! It is beautifully written throughout and features some excellent characters. I hope this was useful and thank you very much for reading!
