Judas Iscariot was given 30 pieces of silver for his betrayal, so when the severed hand of a retired high ranking MI6 agent is found gripping a bag containing his own 30 pieces of silver the parallels are obvious. This man has crossed someone he shouldn't have and it is now down to two MI6 agents and their new computer whiz to discover who killed this man, and more importantly why they wanted him dead in the first place. Aston and George are the agents, they are at the top of their field but after being involved in a dramatic terrorist attack in London their judgement and work ethics are being questioned by their commanders. The judas by steve jackson is the second book that follows the mentor. It is available from tesco for £5.59 in paper back and is worth every penny. This book is one of them that grabs your attention from the opening pages and keeps you hooked to it with suspension at every turn of a new page, you will not find a dull moment in this book, he describes things in a great amount of detail giving you a good immage in your head of what is happening but not long winded so that you get bored.
