My husband actually told me a story about when he was in Kosovo at the height of the troubles there, and one officer told him it wasn't that bad because Kate Adie hadn't arrived there yet - when she arrived, then you knew that the poop had hit the fan! The book itself is really the story of how she came to be a reporter and also how she came to be a reporter who was always in the thic...more
