After finishing this fantastic book while away on my recent holiday, and reading it in 2 days flat, I thought I'd let you all know about it, so you can all rush out and buy it as soon as the shops open in the morning! Ok, maybe not, but it is very good!! The book opens with Mickey Haller, a criminal defense attorney in Los Angeles who defends anyone who can afford his fee's. With a million dollar view from his town house in the Hollywood hills, he has to keep his head above water, and unfortunately for him, this means defending scum bags who need to get out of jail.
