I am a big fan of Lonely Planet guidebooks and I also throughly enjoyed their new version of the "Best in travel" in 2009. The book consists of recommended places to visit in 2009 and provides the reader with some really helpful travelling tips. I would recommend this book as a great read to anyone who is interested in travelling and seeing new places. The price of the book is really reasonable. The book captures the worlds hottest trends, journeys and placesto visit for the year 2009. The Lonely Planet writers use their knowledge of the countries to provide more information for the readers and their passion for the places are really protrayed in their writing ... The new Best in Travel book replaces the Blue Lists that Lonely Planet have published the last few years. As many will already know, Lonely Planet are a well respected publisher of guide books for the independent traveller. This is a book covering the best cities, regions and countries that we should be considering visiting this year. There is also the best water destinations and an assortment of other Top Ten destination. So is it worth the £15.99 RRP to the avid traveller's coffee table?
