Advantages: Fast Paced Plot again

Disadvantages: Weak ending

Waited for the release of this book for so long and bought it the first day it was out, couldn't wait to get it home. At first it gripped me; the story had all the twists and turns of Brown's earlier books like Angels and Deamons etc., the main action is definitely at the beginning and towards the middle of the book when the plot begins to unravel a little. The CIA Director - Sato gets a big part in the book to the point where you wonder who is really the main character, Langdon or Sato. The only downside to the book despite it being an overall it is still a great read is the slightly weak ending, don't expect the drama of the Angels and Demons ending, or the Da Vinci enlightenment when you find out who Sophie Neveu really is. It did leave me wondering if this story will carry on in a future book. Despite the ending I would still recommend it to Dan Brown fans. My favourite of all of his books though is still Digital Fortress.

Summary: Still worth a read - great thriller and a bit of escapism
