Advantages: Very good story line and beautifully wirtten.

Disadvantages: It will not appeal to everyone.

The Lost World by Arthur Conan Doyle really is a brilliant novel that is very well written throughout. The novel was originally released in 1912 and is very breifly about an experdition that is about the quest and search for dinosaurs that are still around. The novel is 272 pages and really is beautifully written by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. I would really recommend this novel if you are into the genre of science fiction and thriller's. It really is a great read overall and I would really recommend it!

The novel itself is about a journalist who is called Ed Malone, he then asks for a form of adventure to do and one that will combine elements of danger with it! He then actually has an interview with Professeur Challanger and ironically gets far more than he had initially intentioned. So Professeur Challanger then takes him to a hidden and secret plateau that is in South America in a large jungle. Little does he know that this jungle is full of dinosuars, murderous apes and huge fish lizards that wouldn't mind eating him for lunch!

I really did feel that the novel had a great story line and it is beautifully written which made it really easy to understand and follow. It is definately full of suspense and I just found the adventure to be overall very exciting indeed. It is a classic fantasy adventure that depicts the most amazing adventure, rather like some of the Indiana Jones adventures! I hope this was useful and thank you very much for reading.
