After following Jane Tomlinson making massive contributions to the cancer charities with her epic sponsered bicyle rides, I felt I had to read her, and mike,s account of living with a terminal disease, she became such a household name, it was almost as if you knew her. Jane, and lets face it, it could have been any one of us,was a young mum facing the everyday problems worries,and concerns we all have. she was just an ordinary woman, who became extra ordinary after being given a terminal diagnosis, and oh how I admire her pluck and courage in the face of adversity. I read this book as I'm a fan of autobiographies and Jane was a local woman so I'd heard a lot about her on the local news. This book goes very in depth about Jane's diagnosis of cancer and how it affected her and her family, in particular the relationship between her and her husband Mike. The book is written by both Jane and Mike and as such gives a two sided view of living with cancer. As you've got two sides of the story you can read short sections at a time, you don't have to read a whole chapter. I'd say that although the subject of the book is a sensitive one, this is the only thing that makes it a difficult read. Overall, I'd say that the book is an easy read as ... Read the complete review
