Richard Dawkins is the author of many books in the Popular Science genre, including "Unweaving the Rainbow", "The Blind Watchmaker", "Climbing Mount Improbable" amongst others. I have read all three and feel the better for it, as many fundamental questions were answered to my satisfaction. Mr. Dawkins is one of the leading proponents of Darwinism and goes to great lengths to scotch Creationist arguments, by carefully and in layman's terms explaing the development of, say, the eye, from its most basic form to an eye that can focus, see colour or see in the dark.
