The illustrations in this book are beautifully drawn, and when you get to see the page showing the Northern Lights it is colourful and sparkly, allowing the children to share in the wonder the little bear feels. My two children love this story, and have done for a couple of years. They are now four and five. The story is about a small polar bear wanting to see the Northern Lights. He has heard about them and can't wait to see them. Every day he asks 'Is it time yet', only to be told 'no, not yet' , so he goes off to do something else. His anticipation builds up, until on the final day he gets to see the marvel of the Northern Lights.
