I am not a person who reads many (if any) fiction books. I really like to read books that educate me in some way. For this reason I often read factual books or biographies. This particular book I read for the first time back in 1993, just after it had been brought out. It was a hardback book and if I remember correctly it cost me about £18 at the time. But why this particular book?? Well the main reason is that John Moores is a legend in the area were I live - Liverpool. He did a great job in building up his businsses including the Pools, Catalogues, Stores etc and was responsible for creating thousands and thousands of jobs in the community. Not only that he ...
