Having worked my way through the James Bond books - I've been a self-confessed James Bond fan for a couple of years - I finally reached Ian Fleming's The Man with the Golden Gun. TMWTGG is the last full-length James Bond adventure by Fleming and it was published posthumously in 1965, one year after Fleming's death. For those of you that hated the film version (I didn't think it was that bad, although it was not one of the better titles in the series) you can rest assured that the book, like most other James Bond books, bears virtually no resemblance to its film adaptation.
