In the sleepy French village of Amour-sur-Belle, Guillaume Ladoucette decides it is time to close down his barbershop when the few male residents left there no longer have enough hair to work his magic on; for the man who created such classics designs as the "pine cone", it's a sad moment. Giving his work premises a makeover, Guillaume sets himself up as matchmaker, calling his new business "Heart's Desire".
