I don t think there are many people out there who are not familiar of the name Enid Blyton. Most famous for her Famous Five, The Secret Seven and Noddy Books she was born on the 11th August 1897 and was one of the most successful childrens story tellers of that time. One of her most well known characters is that of Noddy who was invented for reading beginners. In a few of her books people disapproved of them which has led to alterations and reprints, on some occassions they have actually been banned from libraries. In the 1990 s a lot of her stories had whole passages removed which were deemed racist or sexist. Blytons s books mostly resembled the ideas and fantasies of ...
