I was given this book for mother's day a couple of years ago - not sure if I was supposed to be using it as a handbook - so that I could be the best at everything - or to show me how good I was!!! Anyway it follows the style of a number of these books that came out around the same time. It has a 50's style with lots of "Bunty" style illustrations, but it is written in a very modern and upbeat style. There are also lots of really practical tips, such as recipes and ideas of things to do with the children on rainy days that don't involve the TV or the Playstation.
