The first thing I should mention about this book, is that it is marketed at the complete beginner. Its main aim is to keep things simple. It does without "bollinger band analysis", "pivot points" and other such technical jargon. Its focus is to provide a simple and uncluttered pathway into the infamous world of the stock market. *Introduction* Around 4 months ago I decided to dip my toe into the financial world and purchase a few shares. However, in doing so I failed to do any background reading or research. I soon found myself being lured into the "newbie curse" of becoming obsessed with online shares bulletin boards, with members excitedly sharing their hottest new "tips" on "10 baggers". I soon found myself buying a couple of hundred shares in companies such as Braemore Resources and Rheochem. Great I thought, I'll be a millionaire in no time with these bad boys.
