Advantages: enjoy his vision of the future

Disadvantages: not sure where spader's character is going

The never world book is written by D J Machale and is book 3 out of a series of ten books previous books being:
book 1 Merchant of death
book 2 The lost city of Faar

and the next one after this being called book 4 Reality bug.

Background story
This book is Part of a series Called Pendragon a travel through time and space and follows a boy by the name of Robbert Pendragon (or Bobby as he is know to his friends) who is a Traveler who can go to different Territories or worlds as they would be called to you or me. There are Ten different Territories each has its own traveler and it is up to them to stop a bad guy by the name of Saint dane. Saint Dane as all bad guys wants to do want to Control Halla (Halla is described by the author as anything and everything all time and places. Saint Dane does this by finding the turning point of each territory and pushing it to absolute Chaos. It is up to Bobby to stop him. Bobby has also been given something called a traveler ring which he can send his daily Journels to his friends Mark Dimond and Courtney Chetwyn. He does this to document all that he does for future reference.

Story
Bobby pendragon has gone back in time by going into the territory of first earth. Its the year 1937 and both Bobby and Spader are without their Traveler rings. The rings have been stolen by a gang of thieves. There are three different versions of earth each its own territory(its own world) There is first earth the one they have currently gone to which is the time line of 1937. Bobby is from second Earth which is our current year. Then last of all there is third earth which takes place in the future year of 5012. Machale the author is quiet creative about what he thinks the world of 5012 without being to crazy. He envisions a world in this story not like the jetson's but where everyone is more eco friendly and man is now able to build cities underwater,underground and anywhere you can imagine on earth and out of earth being mars jupiter etc. It seems has though people have had to find ways of using every place on earth because of population growth. Bobby pendragon only goes to the future to see if he can stop Saint Dane's master plan of controlling The territory of First earth.
Third Earth has a very cool library in which all history is shown in a virtual reality program which is powered by a very powerful computer that can process information in the blink of an eye. The computer that powers the virtual reality can also give you possibilities of what might happen if you change something in time what might of happened.


Conclusion
I know to anyone reading this review they may feel that the story sounds a bit far fetched. But I have really enjoyed the series so far as the author mixes fantasy and humor together as well as Bobby is your typical hero in fact he consider's him self to be a wimp. He always will find a way to save the day. My only complain about the book is that spader's character does not seem to be doing anything anymore yeah he might save Bobby every now and then but other that he does not add anything to the storyline. Before you get round to reading this I must stress that you read the other previous books before reading this as each book continues where the other one left off.
