Penguin Handbook of Living Religions. This is a 2nd edition of this book and was published in 1997 I made the suggestion to Dooyoo to include this book for a number of reasons: Firstly; it is a very good book to read for people at different levels of understanding about religions. Yes, it is written in the main by academics, however the concepts, background and 'facts' about each religion in each chapter are not too difficult to grasp. Admittedly, some of the more philosophical discussion is a little on the heavy side, but this is a book that one can dip into over time. In fact, I have had this book for two years ...
