Popper is one of my favourite philosophers. He was one of the first to bring the science within the domain of Philosophy and challenge the traditional view that sciences like maths and physics were exact sciences while philosophy was disputable. Popper was also a political writer. The Open Society and Its Enemies is an engaging book, written at a time when democracy as we know it was only one option and totalitarism was another. The book as I have it is actually made of 2 parts, the book itself and the notes at the end of it. The style is engaging and anyone with a sincere interest in philosophy will understand ...
