The Oxford Book of Flexible Anthems: A Complete Resource for Every Church Choir

Oxford University Press have rightly identified a gap in the market for sacred music which can be adapted to suit different choirs, particularly small ones or ones where there is a lack of parts. This is an admirable aim on the part of the publisher, but I wonder whether in some ways they've missed the point. The book contains a wealth of material, much drawn from existing OUP collections and whilst the aim here is to introduce flexibility, some are straight duplicates of previously published material; potential buyers should definitely check what they already have before ordering.
