Let's start with a bit of context, shall we? Modern televised sport. It's all rubbish really, isn't it? Not the TECHNICAL standard of the coverage, you understand. A few hundred thousand new camera angles (never mind new cameras), computer analysis-cum-reconstruction, multi-screens, etc etc etc have seen to that.
