The Princess and the Pea - Lauren Child

What a delight this was! I first came across Lauren Child reading 'My Uncle is a Huncle' in college, and firstly thinking what a perfectly strange child her Clarice Bean character was. At the same time though, there was something charming about her illustration, as well as her words. The Princess and the Pea has followed suit. I won't go into the story as I believe there are very few people who don't know it already (this being based on the well known Brothers' Grimm version) but I will go into the look of this story, as it's something to behold.
