The Pub Landlord's Book of British Common Sense is an intriguing read that looks at a variety of issues through Al Murray's infamously tinted specs. I personally didn't know what to expect when i got the book, other than a good laugh. What i got however was not just a good laugh but an insight into how Murray thinks which i personally found intruiging. He is perhaps one of Britain's favourite comedian's but for everyone that loves his stand up there is equally as many that can't stand him. I am of course talking about Al Murray, a man who perhaps is one of the best examples of a person who fits into the Marmite effect. I'm personally very much in the love him camp and that was perhaps the motivation behind me deciding to read his recent book, The Pub Landlord's Book of British Common Sense.
